Fort Point beer packaging by Manual

For Fort Point, a craft brewery located in the Presidio of San Francisco, Manual created a logo and packaging. The design and visual communication studio aimed to convey their client’s balanced and traditional image. By using gold geometric lining referring to the Fort on a black background, the design remains simple but classic. The orange details used can also be found on the bottles’ caps, whose gold look matches the rest of the packaging. Different flavours are accompanied by different designs and are each printed on a gold, white and orange background.

Manual’s branding for the brewery did not stop there. They also designed draft handles out of wood with the same geometric illustrations as the bottles. This way, customers can always easily identify their beer at a local bar.

“The result is a brand that locals can identify with and, as the brand grows and becomes available throughout the nation, can be regarded as the new San Francisco craft beer,” designers at Manual explain.
